<h2>CONTENT WHALES WILL CRUSH BAD CONTENT</h2>
<p>I have come to the conclusion that there is a lot of great content on Steemit. Content deserving of more eyes falling upon it.<br />

<p>Some of it is overlooked, yes, but this is something that will change as the community continues to diversify. It is time that we as a community bring in great writers and alternative media personalities to Steemit.<br />
</p>
<p>I have taken it upon myself to reach out to authors and media personalities who have large followings to come to Steemit.<br />
</p>
<p>The reasoning behind it is simple. They will be rewarded for work they currently produce for free and can use that for themselves or to promote projects they believe in.<br />
</p>
<p>This is an excellent way to expand Steemit. Bring content whales into the mix.<br />
</p>
<p>A content whale is a personality which has a large following. Imagine Joe Rogan writing and speaking of Steemit and with a huge following like he has, how that will affect adoption of this platform.</p>

<p>When the content whales come to Steemit, so will their avid followers. Some of those followers will bring more content and diversify the middle class of Steemit. </p>

<p>This is an important step and I hope you too are inviting some of these content whales.</p>
<p>Now I am partial to Libertarianism and Anarchism so obviously I am reaching out to the content whales of those specific writing and media genres myself.</p>

<p>Recently I messaged an author known as Larken Rose and invited him to Steemit. He has a few great books and constantly posts his views on Facebook which gather hundreds of likes. He is a natural born great writer and deserves to be rewarded more for his works on anarchism. Cryptocurrency like Steem can help him.</p>

<p>So here is my advice.<strong> Message, email and mention Steemit as a viable social media platform</strong> for many of the personalities which can bring new people to Steemit.<br />

<p>Whether they are bitcoin, libertarian or anarchist writers... They will most definitely do well here. </p>
<p>The more they see Steemit the more likely they will look to it as a viable alternative to current social media platforms. </p>

<p>I think of Steemit as the Alternative Social Media. Alternative media will soon be here. Just wait until they get a taste of it.</p>
