Twelve days ago, I went to Bantayan Island. It is located in the northern tip of Cebu province. This island is well-known of its white and powdery sand. This is one of the most visited islands in the Philippines especially during holy week.

Since this is one of the famous islands in the Philippines, it is expected that the accomodation cost is expensive.
Can you still get a low-cost accomodation in the island with nice room and high quality of service? Hmmmm....maybe some of you won't believe if I would say....YES!! You can still have it in the island! The question is where it is located. Check this out!

As I checked the room rates in Bantayan Island from beach resorts to Inns and Pension Houses, it usually ranges from php1,000.00 ~ php2,500.00 per night. I constantly travel alone and since I am a budget traveller, I always look for a low-cost accomodation.
I didn't stop checking online until I was able to find a low-cost accomodation. When the owner of the apartelle immediately replied my text message informing me the room rates, I immediately booked the room for a 2-night stay in Bantayan Island.
This is the compound area of Batiancila's Apartelle. The compound area is composed of apartments with Modern Native Duplex; Duplex Single-Storey; and Duplex 2-Storey.

This was my home for 2 nights in Bantayan Island. It costs Php500.00 ($10)/night good for 2 persons. An additional Php100.00 ($2)/person shall be collected if it exceeds more than 2 persons.

This is the interior design of the room. The room is spacious and tidy. The white paint color made the room very neat to look at.

The room has its own comfort room. Although it is not huge but you can move comfortably inside.

This is the single-storey duplex apartment. It only costs php800.00 ($16)/night good for 2 persons. When it exceeds, an additional php100.00 ($2)/person shall be collected.

This is the 2-storey duplex apartment. It only costs php2,500.00 ($50)/night good for 4 persons and php1,300.00 ($26)/night good for 2 persons. Same as the other rooms, you have to pay php100.00 ($2) for an additional person.

If you would like to explore the island by yourself, you can rent this motorcycle for php300.00 ($6) only good for 24 hours. That's great, right?
