It's Sunday morning, 5:30 AM Naija time
It's also 4th July, the birthday of my one and only brother in this universe and beyond.

*Now, do you think that this Sunday would be anything less than sublime?*

It's still a fresh Sunday morning, kene knows it. I also know that every good start to a Sunday will invariably lead to an all-around sublime Sunday. That's my plan. This day has to be good and all the signals are already showing that I'm up for a thrilling Sunday experience.

> **Here is how it started;** 

Today is my brother's birthday and l feel like tiptoing to his bedside this freezing weather so that l can use cold water to baptise him in an unusual manner. Imagine what his reaction would be - he won't be able to feel blood running through his veins, his pyjamas will be wetted, his bed will also be like a slice of bread dipped into a cup of tea.  Oh dear, just how will it feel for me to pour this water on him? 

Lol. Don't tell me, l already know! It will be an unforgettable memory. The type that will be remembered vividly whenever he hears birthday songs. It's kinda crazy and l love it that way so, why not? Guess it's time to go ahead with the splashing and sprinkling, eh?

Lemme think. I would love to, but sorry to break it you, l can't! Not now. Why?

As you can see above, the young lad is 90 km away from me. He is a student of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus. Making that trip is already unthinkable but doing it on a Sunday can be said to be insane. Experience has already shown me that travelling by road on Sundays is a an experience that screams 'NO'as far as Nigeria is concerned. Flying is also not an option - not yet!

> Now, does that sound like a comma to my sublime Sunday? Did it cut short the celebration? 

**'No'** is the answer. I've already sent my birthday wishes to the birthday boy. I did it before going to bed. I was patiently waiting for my calendar to hit 4th July so that l can start unleashing all my Birthday wishes and goodwill messages to him. Oh dear, the last time minutes before this day was the longest waiting period and it was worth it. 

I filled his DM with messages and I'm sure that he was having a good laugh while reading through it.

His replies were also coming as fast as his fingers can go and we had a very good chat. When we were already ending the chat by 12:50 AM, l went to my mobile bank App and sent my surprise package to him. Just a little something from jobless me to him but it means a lot to him and it was duly appreciated. We wrapped up the chat nicely and I'm sure that he had a good Sleep.

> As for me, I also had a good sleep and l woke up as early as possible to do some of my morning routines before writing this #sublimesunday post. 
 
I've said it before and l will say it again, *'Early to bed may not be my thing but rising early is my stronghold'*. Not my fault, eh? Loll.

Did l tell you that l prayed for him? Oh yeah, l prayed for him after our chat and l will talk with him later today when the whole family are wide awake and less busy with activities so that he can have a nice chat with everyone. The more people involved, the merrier.

For now, I've got this post on my mind and I'm punching my phone hard enough so that l can click the publish icon before 7:30 AM. That would give me the time l need to prepare for Sunday Mass. Just so you know, this post is going to the #sublimesunday community. I got to know about this community, thanks to @dreemsteem.

I hope to share more about the sublimity of my Sunday in this place.

- **Church:** The hymns, gospel and sermon always has a way of melting me softly, lifting off a whole lot of burden from my shoulder and strengthening my resolve so that l can face this week head-on.

- **Read and Comment:** This is already serving as a post for today so, l won't beat myself up about writing another one although l would love to write if l squeeze out time for it. On the other hand, I would like to read other posts especially #sublimesunday posts and see how the Sunday vibe is being enjoyed across the globe.

- **Rice & Stew:** Is that what you will be cooking  @merit.ahama? Okay, gimme gimme. I don't know if a Sunday will ever be complete without rice - it can be jollof rice, white rice or fried rice. It's beckon customary for families to cook rice on Sundays. Funny enough, whenever I'm alone, l just eat anything that comes to mind. 

- **Meetings:** I have two serious meetings to attend today. One will be done online while the other would be a physical meeting. The time usually runs into each other and I've always found a way to get one done before joining the other immediately. Today would be a little different and I'm thinking of how to fit things in properly. Hopefully, I would be able to make an active appearance in both.
