0.000 HBDOur Existential Burden: Learn to survive each of them.
People are strong. I never doubt that... Not even for a second. But life has its way of hitting us hard with several sorts of hardship. You just don't know what to expect from life and you can never be too prepared for what life throws on your path. You wake up each day with a wishful desire of having an amazing day, but you never know what the day has in store for you. Life has its juicy side and I'm all-in for that, but even when it seems like I'm living my best life, a quick walk within my street always reminds me that so many people are faced with a lot of difficulties. The suffering in this world is so intense to the point that it will make you question the existence of any omnipotent being that answers prayers Think about that... Suffering is one of the most real things about our existence. It's not like some fairytale. We know that life is tough and we don't have to look far to see how tough things are. We all have already dealt with a fair share of hardship and so many of us are still dealing with a lot of difficulties. ##### What did we do to deserve all these difficulties? Before you start referring to the biblical incident that played out in the Garden of Eden and how humans lost their paradisical territory, I want you to know that this isn't a religious question. As far as I can tell, most people are carrying several sorts of existential burdens. Physical illness, mental illness, financial problems, sociological issues, etc. If you are fortunate enough to not be dealing with any of those, you will likely have a friend or family member that does. Does that make sense? Yeah, some of the difficulties we face don't have anything to do with our actions or inactions. They are just there and we've got to learn to survive each of these without guilt-tripping ourselves or blaming ourselves. Take this for an example; > I know a whole lot of people who spend most of each day working without having enough time to go for a proper lunch break. Yet, they are facing all sorts of financial difficulties, they can barely save up enough cash to go for a proper weekend vacation. My life is not too far from that either. I'm faced with a series of existential problems and it seems like a bunch of them are beyond my control. You know, people's life can be so complex to the point that it will get beyond their control and they would rather wish to be dead than to be alive. Make no mistake about this... I love my life. Haha. But I get why some people seek death when life hits them hard. Some of them believe that death will take their difficulties away. Here are the kinda difficulties I'm talking about; > Maybe the economy is already a mess and the political policies in your country are making life hellish for you. You get a sack letter in the midst of all these and someone you genuinely care about kicks the bucket. Maybe you even get cancer in addition to all the other catastrophic situations you are dealing with. When someone is hit by that kinda catastrophe at the same time, the person may end up thinking that there is no getting out of that mess. And that's when suicidal thoughts may start to seep in. It's really tough, but regardless of how tough life gets, making effort to survive will always difficulties will always count as a heroic act. So, never give up. **Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma** Thumbnail Image is taken from [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/es/photos/dolor-mujer-llorar-destrucci%C3%B3n-5501796/)
