<center> **Philippine Association of Food Technologist, Inc** Judging the Poster Making Contest One of the best things of having friends from different universities is that you get to have that could help on what you do best. I happen to know a friend from the University of the Philippines Mintal, a food tech student that knows what I do best. I was invited by Queenie Clarin to judge a poster making contest along with their quiz bee event joind by different schools last February 26. They were so accommodating that they hurriedly gave me anything I need as a judge of the said contest. They gave me meals and they also gave my girlfriend meals too since shes with me to take photos for this blog 😂. They also provided me the things needed for judging and provided details for me to properly judge the entries. I am amazed by these students because their event was great and everything they do is up to par. Kudos to them 👌 <hr> **Criteria for Judging** <hr> **Relevance to the theme 40%** >This is one of the most important things in poster making contest. Always relate to the theme every element that you do for your entry. Sticking to the teme has greater chance of winning since judges could relate to it right away. **Originality 30%** >Who wouldnt want to see an original entry? An entry that is different from others. Always make something that would determine that your work doesnt look like the other entries. **Creativity 20%** >One of the main purpose of having an art contest is to be creative. An artwork that outstands others. An entry that is new to the judges eyes has a really good impact. **Overall Impact 10%** >This points out to the effectiveness of the work. Did the artwork served the things that the judges needs to see? Did the artwork catch the attention of the viewers? If so then you get to have that 10%. The best thing about judging contest like these is that I get to share what I have learned in making visual art and I get to see works from different people. I was not able to witness who won for a reason that I had to go somewhere very important. I'd love being on these certain events for exposure purposes and to establish connections. Connections that could help me someday and I could help them somehow. Thats it for today and thank you for dropping by 😊 Please support these groups and people: @deveerei @dandalion @surpassinggoogle @christinegegare @bayanihan @steemph @steemph.davao @artguildph @sndbox @bestproject </center>
