And here we go again! Trying to explain what my son question about planet SATURN on "how does the planet SATURN has a ring around". Then followed by the question of the "world's oldest inventions"? I guess my child only tries me if I know his questions. But I just got a bit of knowledge about the planet because of my listening to National Geographic on YouTube.
And not only that! Just this morning, he asks about Benjamin Franklin fly a kite during a storm. I need more research to share with you some answers to my child's questions and I'll put here on the steemit. Go ahead! Let's study all of us and stay with me. It's better to just draw all that I need to explain and just color it even if my drawing is bad.

I'll start with **SATURN** followed by the other questions.
## 1. Why does Saturn have rings? Don't think about that it has got engaged. LOL! The Scientist doesn't exactly know why Saturn has rings. But they think that is related to Roche limit. What is Roche limit? https://steemitimages.com/DQmfJ5z6rQNyxnumEg2py1excdnqdCHRLQn9oP1fKLBapjV/saturn.jpg **Roche limit** is the distance from the planet at which objects in orbit around the planet tend to be ripped apart by the planet's gravitational pull. Now base on the Roche limit one of the prevailing theory is at Saturns ring are reminisce of celestial bodies like a moon or a comet. Billion years ago a celestial body may have got too close to Saturn exceeding the Roche limit. Hence, it's side facing the Saturn was far more strongly as compares to the side facing away. https://steemitimages.com/DQmWTPGpvkoZNVzyTuNf3dUaGHELUvgRKDg37EJqY2f3CDU/COMET%20APPROACHING.jpg So, this inconsistent gravitational foam may have ripped apart the celestial body into pieces. Finally, this pieces may have started revolving around Saturn forming its beautiful rings.
## 2. What are the world's oldest inventions?
The wheel, fire, tools, and weapons are some of the oldest inventions that are still in use. Many scientists and archeologist (the people who study the culture of the past) believe that the stone tools used by Early Man are the oldest invention of all. https://steemitimages.com/DQmXVWAYkGAVwa146e5LeTvAX4M7w6aqNGnVD6N8mu6TbRz/weapons.jpg #### - Who invented the wheel? It is believed that ancient Sumerians invented the wheel around 3500 BC. The earliest wheels were used by potters. Later, people started to use wheels on chariots. Over the years, the wheel went through several improvements until it developed into the wheel we see today. https://steemitimages.com/DQmRP2bpU3PKauQ9pK9Qh14cCo5BdU4EmfrSfanRQfo9jTu/New%20wheels.jpg *Wheels are an important part of our lives. They are used in various machines and equipment we see around us.* Apart from weapons and tools, Early Man had also learned to make clothes from animal hide, pottery from clay, and to practice agriculture and domesticate animals.
## 3. Why did Benjamin Franklin fly a kite during a storm? Benjamini Franklin wanted to prove that lightning is a form of electricity. He attached a pointed metal piece on the top of a kite and a metal key to the base of the string. When lightning struck the kite, it traveled down the kite string to the key, creating a spark. https://steemitimages.com/DQmRFEZA2KekPssLHQoXfE5TDZfHxLptqf5Ho2LErS7tbRL/struck.jpg Benjamin Franklin was also invented the lightning rod to protect buildings and ships from lightning damage. #### - Why did Benjamin Franklin invent bifocals? Benjamin had poor vision and used glasses to read. Tired of constantly taking them off and then putting them back on, he decided to make glasses the enabled him to see both near and far. He cut two pairs of spectacles in half and put half of each lens in a single frame. https://steemitimages.com/DQmRdQWun9pyYcf1RnjNp8DoAGyiKu6kRLaaoK6hLouwFHf/eyglass.jpg Benjamin Franklin also invented an iron furnace stove, called the Franklin stove, which allowed people to warm their homes with less wood and was safer. And while he was working as a postmaster, Benjamin Franklin invented a simple odometer to keep track of the distance. Although Benjamin Franklin received much recognition as a result of his inventions, he did not profit from them. He believed in giving his inventions to the world freely and generously. ###
This is the science lessons for today

https://steemitimages.com/DQmcotqHBkrph3y7SSFiEELm3rsDKAyX8P3f4mfrCJCrMYD/lines.jpg **Again, I hope you enjoyed and learned at least some of my shares today. It does not have to be a long written, what matters is that there is a good lesson to be found in every story or blog, and it is interesting to read especially if there is a picture or video.
