IS IT BETTER TO BE RIGHT OR BE LIKED? Dale Carnegie (author of "How to win friends and influence people") suggests that you are in a lose lose situation if you try and prove yourself right no matter if you are or not. “You can’t win an argument. You can’t because if you lose it, you lose it; and if you win it, you lose it. Why? Well, suppose you triumph over the other man and shoot his argument full of holes and prove that he is non compos mentis. Then what? You will feel fine. But what about him? You have made him feel inferior. You have hurt his pride. He will resent your triumph.” ― Dale Carnegie, How to Win Friends & Influence People So have you noticed this on this platform or day to day? Hell I'm guilty of it hands up 🙋🏼♂️. However I feel also feel a overwhelming sense of encouragement especially from those on LinkedIn. “If you want to help others to improve, remember… Use encouragement. Make the fault seem easy to correct.” ― Dale Carnegie, How to Win Friends and Influence People I want to encourage others today to post something they care about. To help someone that they otherwise wouldn't. What do you think? Thank you for always following my blog @KENSHIN22 HELLA PINOY!
