The story is told about a farmer, whose
dog always sat by the roadside and
barked furiously, attempting to overtake any passing vehicle. One day, one of the farmer's neighbours, who had been watching this fruitless chase, asked the farmer: "Do you think your dog is ever going to catch a car ?"
The farmer replied: That is not what bothers me. What bothers me is what he would do if he ever caught one."

Do not behave like this visionless dog, which would make vigorously but meaningless chase, not only wasting precious time, but also making itself stupid in the eyes of the passers-by.
