I love coffee especially once i get up in the morning it really wakes me up. While some choose a different drink to get them moving and wipe the cobwebs from their brain, coffee seems to be my favorite is it yours. After drinking my coffee today i thought i would share some great tips with you that i have learned over the years.

I have found through trial and error that the best coffee typically comes from a coffee press. Instant coffee is over-processed and tends to taste rather bland or downright awful, while whole bean coffee offers the best aroma's and flavors. Once you start grinding it yourself, you'll be amazed at the difference. Using a press brings out all the best aromas and flavor's, too!

For better tasting coffee try and get a French press you will be impressed with the difference. Coffee made in a French press is usually more aromatic and full of flavor. This type of press helps more of the coffee's oils go into the coffee itself instead of getting trapped inside the coffee pot filter. The more oil you have in my opinion, the better your coffee will taste.

When shopping for a coffee grinder, try not to purchase one that uses blades. Instead, look out for one that has cone shaped or grinding burrs to reduce the beans. These give a more consistent cut. Also i have found that flat blades have a tendency to overheat and can give your coffee a scorched flavor.

To give your coffee that wow effect best buy directly from the roaster. You can do this easily online these days. A lot of roasters are willing to ship directly to you. This is the way to get the freshest roast coffee to drink every morning with breakfast.

To get the best possible coffee, look for the ones that are made of 100% Arabica beans. These beans are of top quality and will give you the best taste after you are finished brewing. These beans also tend to preserve their freshness longer so that you can have great coffee for a very long time.

Try to look at where your coffee originated. Where the coffee was grown can make a big difference to the overall flavor of your coffee. As an example, Latin American countries tend to grow beans that have a milder taste. If you are looking for more of an exotic taste i suggest looking for coffees grown in Africa.

When you buy whole coffee beans and grind the coffee yourself you will be amazed at the coffee you brew. Coffee that is freshly ground is much more flavorful and aromatic than pre-ground coffee. Try each day to only grind the amount of coffee that you need for that day. If you grind too much, place the leftover grinds in an airtight container in the fridge.By doing so, you will be able to grind your beans as and when you need them. You will be amazed at the difference between coffee brewed from fresh beans and that made from a canned or bagged grind coffee.

To get the best and purest brew from your preferred coffee beans, use only the best and purest water you can. Always remember that all the items that you put into your brew have an impact on the taste. Filtered water and bottled water will result in a great cup of coffee. Distilled water is not necessarily a good idea, though, as it may not have the necessary minerals to break down the flavors in the coffee beans.

If you like a delicate flavor in your coffee, try putting some right in to the pot while it's brewing.I have found that a pinch of cinnamon or a few drops of vanilla will definitely add flavor to your brew. Flavoring your coffee this way will keep the flavor delicate and subtle , and you should not need cream or milk.

For that wow factor to your daily cup of coffee or to impress dinner guests, learn how to decorate your lattes. Carefully poured milk is all it takes to make an attractive swirl design as you become more proficient at pouring you may choose to add chocolate for a more flavorful decoration. From experience when it comes to the more elaborate designs, practice does make perfect!

Chocolate with coffee is a great combination! try serving a square along with a cup. A bite of chocolate followed by a melt-in-your mouth sip of your favorite brew is without a doubt my own treat! To really indulge the chocolate can also be enjoyed by dipping it, or even dropping a piece directly into the coffee.

Try using coffee in place of water in many recipes to add an interesting flavor. Try substituting cooled, brewed coffee for water in cakes, brownies and other baked treats. Coffee my friend says adds an interesting flavor to a pot of chili. Use your imagination and come up with some great ideas of your own!

Always remember to keep your coffee machine clean. Once you are done drinking coffee, try to rinse the coffee pot and remove the coffee grounds. Always as a minimum rinse the machine and run hot water through it at least once a week to clean it thoroughly. Try not to leave coffee or grounds in your machine for more than an hour to prevent clogging.

Always try to make sure that you store your coffee in an airtight container if you are not planning on using it straight away. This will help to preserve its freshness so that you can make coffee that you enjoy for yourself and friends and family. Coffee always tastes the best when it is fresh, as this will help to optimize your brew.

To keep your coffee beans fresh, try putting them in the freezer. While many people refrigerate their coffee, this can allow the beans to absorb odors from foods inside your fridge. A better solution is certainly to freeze the beans. One easy way is to divide the beans into several smaller packages so you can simply remove a package as needed.

As you have learned, coffee isn't just a simple bean. There are certainly many different varieties and many ways to prepare it. The one thing you really need to do is to figure out how you like it. Then, you can make it to suit your palette, without the need to go out for wow coffee as much.It may seem intimidating at the beginning, but after you have the basics, it is really quite simple to make a great brew. Utilize these tips and you will soon amaze yourself and family and friends by making your own wow coffee, enjoy.
