While I technically wasn't a victim of a viscous fish attack, I did get quite the shock having this massive fish jumping for my hand.

These fish are called Tarpons. They are massive salt water fish typically found in the Atlantic and Indo Pacific. Though it may not look like it, this was a small one! Research has shown these monsters growing up to 8 feet in length!

I had this picture taken in Belize while on a diving trip to Amergris Caye. We had the fortune of seeing these amazing fish in a sanctuary Caye a few miles off the coast.

Though I was a little afraid, I was moreso baffled by the power and agility of such large fish. Apparently they aren't dangerous to swim with, but I was more than hesitant to jump in with them.
