Home Is Where Your Heart Is? This Is What Home Means For Me.
<center>At first, when I think of home, I think of a safe place where I can live without any worries that something or someone will suddenly drop in my place, or that I will sleep without a roof above my head. This would be 'common' definition of what home is. But on the second glance, home is where my heart is. For more than one year, I live and study at a boarding school in Freiburg, Germany, with more than 200 students with 90 different nationalities. When a previous academic term has ended, I was crawling to get back home in my country. I was sick of academic thoughts, and I really missed my family's and old friends' atmosphere. When I got back to my country, I thought of it as a real home. Everything was great; the family was always around, lots of good meetings were happening with friends; we ate lots of national dishes, visited beautiful nature, etc. The weather was also great so we could also travel around the country.

But after 2 months spent back 'home', I realized that I desperately want to get back to my boarding school and spend lots of time talking to my schoolmates and teachers. I missed our night hiking, walks by the river, and to be honest; studying.

More I was thinking about this word 'home', I was realizing that my heart can belong to many places in many pieces. The place which I call home are definitely places where I felt and lived with the most significant experiences. Somewhere where my heart left a piece of itself in it.

What is home for you?
