Bringing crypto to the masses and hitting "mainstream" is spoken about often, but first we need to discuss in what manner cryptocurrencies might hit mainstream. In my mind there are three specific ways in which crypto is likely to hit the mainstream:

1. As a digital cash/transactional currency 
2. As a pure investment vehicle 
3. Through a blockchain/crypto powered product/company like PROPS, Steem, Filecoin, SiaCoin, etc.
