You know as kids, when we are asked, *how old are you?*, we make sure to tell the exact age we are. *"I am 4years 3 months old"* are one of many smart answers you will get from a kid and we continually look forward to adults because we want to be able to do the things our elder siblings do.

Looking back at those years, makes me realize that I do not want to rally get old. I now wish I can get a pass. *It sucks to be an adult.* I am not ready to get into all that responsibility I tell myself. 
Till date, my children still look forward to being adults while an adult like myself looks forward to be a child again.

I am trying to relate those years to what we see ourselves doing right now on Steemit. We are daily doing stuffs that points to the fact that we all want to be old, like being Dolphins, Orcas or Whales, but we forget that the things we are up to now will make us get into the groove the best way possible.

As a Steemian, learn to be a child at all times and you will do just well. Many people think being a Whale is what Steemit is about, but they forget that there is more to be more than you see yourself as. 
Learn first to be happy doing what you are into so that when you do get to that age of a Whale you will fondly llok back at those days when you were a minnow and smile while telling yourself, **"I had a good time down there."**

You may ask why I still wish I was a child and I will tell you. I never was truly able to enjoy my time as a child and I still wish I did. I was not privileged to be the happy child I see my kids being now, it was not easy growing up and I just wish I had time to truly be a child.

This is just another day to be happy and you must make the best of it.
