Hi, I'm that little girl's mom, and as you might have guessed.. the little patient died 4 years ago.

Back then I was a selfish woman, I was self centered, and career driven.

I was working day and night in a little cubicle, I rarely visited my own family, "I need to earn money, and after that, I can hopefully retire, in an island far.. far.. away."

I use to repeat these same words, every single day.
But one day, I got pregnant..

I felt like my whole life fell apart, my career crashed down.

I started acting ballistic!

First of all, because at that time I didn't like "scummy" children, and I would have never worked at an orphanage or daycare.

I tried to hide my pregnancy, but it wasn't going to last long, I always felt sick, which made me lose my dream career I have been trying to get into 4 years before my pregnancy.

I decided to abort that dream crusher.

But the doctors said that it was too risky and expensive.

So I didn't.

When my baby girl was born, I saw her as maintenance.

When my daughter turned 3 she always said that she wanted to be a ballerina, but I knew she won't be one..

Because she had a disease that got her life shortened.

I fell in love with my daughter, but when I heard about the news, it broke my heart.

Every time she would tell me what she wanted to be in the future, I always said..

"That's nice."

I never told her about her disease. 

One day, when my daughter was 5, we walked across a ballet class..

"Mommy! Mommy! I can start my dream!" she boosted excitedly.

Well, that was the last thing I could do before she passed on, her life expectancy was 'till she was 7 years old.

"Ok, hon, let's go sign you up," I said.

When we got inside, there was magic in her eyes, like she has seen a fairy or something.

The next day she was already stretching in her class..

She looked quite grinny, which made me feel the same way.

My whole reason for living vanished.

Later on, I decided to resume my dream career, and started visiting daycares, children hospitals, and orphanages.

Those kids are right now my reason for living..
