## I've got a question

Hi, I'm new to Steem and I'm still learning how everything works. I've got a question about a specific detail about delegation that I can't seem to find an answer for. As I understand it, and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, STEEM is converted into STEEMPOWER which represents a certain amount of VESTS. When people power down their STEEMPOWER, STEEM is generated in a 1:9 ratio giving 9 STEEMPOWER to all holders of STEEMPOWER for every 1 powered down thereby changing the ratio of VESTS to STEEMPOWER.

My question is if this still applies to people who delegate their STEEMPOWER to others. If I were to delegate say 1 STEEMPOWER to someone, would I still get a share of powered down STEEMPOWER by other users on that 1 delegated STEEMPOWER? or would that go to the person I have delegated to?
