Hi Steemit! :) Today I arranged a watering day for my succulents.  To do this, I needed to remove all my plants from the rack.  I set the trays of plants on the floor in the room and landed next to them.

First, I examine the plants for dry leaves and remove them with tweezers.  Leaving dry leaves and watering abundantly can create a favorable environment for diseases.

We will not water all plants.  The need for watering is easily identified visually.  When the lower leaves lose turgor, that is, they wrinkle, only then it should be watered.  If the lower leaves are dense, then there is enough moisture and the plant does not need to be watered.

Pour over it with a strait, let the water drain and pour water from the pan.  If the plants are severely dehydrated, you can leave water in the pan for a while.

I also selected a few elongated plants that I want to trim and re-root.  I cut several plants, and planted them in pots, where there was free space.  The trimmed plants are dried a little in the air and planted in dry soil.  No need to water, so that the plants do not rot. The liquid reserves in the leaves of succulents will last for a long time, do not worry.  I carry out pruning with the help of a clerical knife treated with alcohol.

For planting my plants lately I have been using ready-made lechuza-pon mineral soil.  I use it in its pure form or as a component of composite soil.  I noted that cuttings root in lechuza faster than in ordinary earthen soil.  This soil consists of zeolite, pumice, lava and long-acting fertilizer.  While I really like this option of soil! :)

I also cut off the echeveria cubic-frost, this beauty got a separate pot.  Her leaves have an unusual shape, a beautiful lilac shade.

It remains to wait when the cuttings take root and begin active growth, I also hope that the stumps will give some beautiful little children.  I keep you posted !;)
