 # Honda will bring to CES 2018 new robots that know how to move independently, help and even empathize with people Japanese company Honda will bring to the exhibition CES 2018 a set of robots, united by the concept of 3E (Empower, Experience, Empathy), through which will demonstrate a number of new experimental technologies. Novelties should show a vision of the world of the future, in which robots equipped with artificial intelligence will be able to help and even empathize with people, showing the aforementioned empathy. Honda will show four robots, two of which it announced under other names at the Tokyo Auto Show this fall. In particular, the single wheelchair 3E-B18 with the maximum number of settings and the "maneuverability of the pedestrian", which will be able to pass almost any passage and elevator, and not only in specially adapted places, was formerly called the Honda Chair-Mobi. And the electric self-propelled cart on wheels 3E-C18 was originally presented as Honda RoboCas. It can be used as a mobile stall for selling ice cream and other products, as a companion in street performances, a mechanized cart for harvesting, etc. The two remaining robots will be shown for the first time. This workhorse 3E-D18, which is a quad bike with artificial intelligence, designed to help workers in various industries who perform their duties on open cross-country terrain. But perhaps the most interesting is the robot-companion 3E-A18, who knows how to "empathize", giving out the emotions suitable for a particular case with the help of a "face". https://youtu.be/RggWMGU2iYw In addition to these concepts, the Japanese will show the Mobile Power Pack World system, which includes portable removable batteries for use in electric cars (and other concepts in electric traction) that can be recharged at home and used as a backup power source for rest or during disasters when central power systems do not function.
