For 2 days I've absent from the Hive, and it's because my emotions have been really low. I never thought I'd be someone to be in a position where my legitimacy will be questioned. And that's because, all my life, I've avoided everything that will get me to that point.

But then, being a Nigerian drags me back into everything I'm not[but I'm] because of a general stereotype. Racism will be a topic of discussion for another day, but for today, I'll love to know why Nigerians are generally stereotyped and for the wrong reasons.
