Last week's curation contest was successful! [Five Hivians received their respective rewards](https://peakd.com/hive-104024/@kopiko-blanca/winner-announcement-of-the-first-ever-memehive-curation-contest).

Since last week was just experimental, this week I suggested to @greywarden100 to double the incentive, and he gladly agreed. And instead of staked MEME, he will send liquid, so you can decide whether to stake it or swap it for HIVE.

# New Guidelines

As for the guidelines, there is one change. I already shared in the [Judging Period article](https://peakd.com/hive-104024/@kopiko-blanca/judging-period-memehive-theme-curation-contest) the difficulty I encountered in searching for the entries. Too many communities use the hashtag #meme. In order to make the search easier, the requirement this time is that you publish your content on the [Meme Tribe Community on PeakD](https://peakd.com/c/hive-104024/created) or the [MemeHive frontend](https://www.hiveme.me/).

As for the other guidelines, the image "must be original or properly credited" and explained with a minimum of 50 words. The longer the description, the better. 

# New Rewards

- 1st Place: From 2,000 MEME to 4,000 MEME

- 2nd Place: From 1,000 MEME to 2,000 MEME

- 3rd Place: From 500 MEME to 1,000 MEME

- Plus 2 consolation prizes of 500 MEME each. 

Instead of 4,000 MEME, the new weekly reward is now 8,000 MEME tokens! 

So far, @greywarden100 distributed 4,000 MEME tokens plus the 500 MEME I sent. The total distributed reward is now 4,500 MEME.

- Winner Announcement: April 21

# Engagement

Engagement is one of the criteria in this curation contest, and the only way to identify this is by the number of upvotes, comments, and reblogs.
