Spinach and Tofu Salad

This one is light, simple and extremely easy to make. Although I do not cook tofu often, in fact it was the first time I decided to grab a block and experiment with it. Usually when me and @matt-a go out to eat to a Thai restaurant we get an order of deep fried tofu with a side of plum or peanut sauce to chew on while waiting on our entrees, perhaps I will try to recreate that in one of my next food posts.

## Ingredients:

* 1/2 cup tofu (cubed);
* 3 tangerine wedges (sliced);
* 1 cup spinach;
* golden flax seeds for garnish;
* raw sunflower seeds for garnish;
To marinate my tofu I used about 40-50 ml of soy sauce and one table spoon of honey.
Dressing was made with a drizzle of sesame seed oil and lime juice.

## Directions:

Get your tofu out of the box or whatever container it is in, tap dry with a paper towel. In a bowl combine soy sauce and honey and let your cubed tofu sit in it for about 10-15 minutes. Fry tofu at a medium heat until browned. Mine got charred some, I didn't realize it would cook so quickly, but it was still good, sort of sweet even at those spots.

The rest is ridiculously simple, combine and assemble the salad the way you like and enjoy!
