We all have the exact same 24 hours in a day.

I have been doing quite a bit of reflection based on this today.

I spent this morning in the Whaletank hangout on mumble. If you have never checked it out head on over to @officialfuzzy 's blog for details. You can find the audio from the past hangouts on @steempowerpics blog. It is the second time I have been in attendance and it has gotten me thinking each time. The whaletank hangout crowd is gushing with intelligence, and I can feel myself absorbing it. Ok, I am done with "selling" it to you, head on over next week, it sells itself.

They say that you become like the people you spend most time with. It makes a lot of sense.
As I age, this becomes more clear to me.
Your (editorially) time is not more valuable than mine. I have stopped putting energy and time into relationships that are one sided. Additionally, I have been trying to interact more often with people who hold some sort of intellectual value. I like when people "force" me to think.

Every day you have 1440 minutes, we all spend them differently. Even on your worst day, you still only have 24 hours. However, this is also true on your best of days. Whatever you put energy into will grow.

What are you spending your energy on?
Is it productive?

I am a classic example of a procrastinator, I am often fashionably late, I have been known to put things off until they become overwhelming.
I need to stop.

As a mother of 4, a wife, a homemaker and a part time employee, I have plenty of obligations.
I do however have free time and I find that I "waste" a ton of it. I need to find more constructive things to be doing with my time, because as I mentioned above, it's valuable.
The possibilities are endless.

Successful people have the same 24 hours I do.
I would imagine that they are spending most of them using their energy to be productive and possibly for self improvement.

I have been on steemit for two months, it has been life changing. The platform is dripping with creativity and knowledge. Never would I have imagined that a social media platform would have a positive impact on my life.
Steemit is not a time waster for me, it has so much potential. I am throwing all sorts of energy at it and feels productive. Thank you steemit for your existence!

I am forever a work in progress.
