 Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Banana blossom can be used as an ingredient in many dishes, Such as soup, curry or salad. This post I have local northern Thai food from banana blossom cooked by my wife. This dish is a spicy northern Thai banana blossom salad with shredded chicken. We have some ingredients that we can pick from our home garden for this dish too. And the wife picked them from the home garden to cook. What are the ingredients from the home garden? Let's go. The main ingredient is banana blossom.   Turmeric and galangal    Vietnamese coriander   Spearmint   Culantro   Lemon grass  Ingredients for spicy northern Thai banana blossom salad with shredded chicken. 1. banana blossom 2. chicken 3. galangal 4. turmeric 5. vietnamese coriander 6. spearmint 7. culantro 8. lemon grass 9. shrimp paste 10. garlic 11. shallots 12. fish sauce 13. water 14. chili for spicy salad Ingredients  Peel the banana blossom and shredd it. Then wash the shredded banana blossom with water.   Put the pot on the stove and add water. Then add shrimp paste, turmeric and lemongrass to the pot and boil until the water boils.  When the water boils, add the chicken in the pot and boil the chicken.  While waiting for the chicken to cook. Crush the garlic and galangal using a pestle and mortar. And chop the vietnamese coriander, spearmint, culantro and shallots.   Add the shredded banana blossom in the pot.   When the chicken is cooked, scoop the chicken into a bowl and shred it.   Then add the crushed galangal and garlic in the pot.  And add the chopped shallots vietnamese coriander, spearmint and culantro in the pot, Stir and boil for a while.   Then add the shredded chicken in the pot.  Season with chili for spicy salad and fish sauce.  Then stir and turn off the stove.  Spicy northern Thai banana blossom salad with shredded chicken.
