It is easy to get lost and confused with all these abbreviations these days. So when you hear that Bankex is building the Internet of Assets (IoA) on the principles of Bank-as-a-Service (BaaS), powered by the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies you are probably like... OK guys, I am glad that you do all of that, but why would I care and how can I make money on that complicated fancy modern expressions?

Even if you are familiar with definitions it is pretty hard to imagine a whole bigger picture of what is BANKEX really doing for the banking system and how big and revolutionary this is. When you are living in the fast-changing times like ours you can't really get a perspective on how life changing all these ideas are and how will they change the way we do business with banks. I think it will be much easier to see the importance of all of this in 20 years or so, the same way as we look at Internet revolution now and see the effect of it in our everyday lives.

So let me tell you one story from 2035. (Or something like that)

By then you will be gray, little bit older and wrinkled. The main occupation for you will be to enjoy in fruits of all your smart investments and bother your grandchildren with stories from the old days while making barbeque in the backyard of your house. Today is a Sunday, your whole family is here and little Mike is helping you with a barbeque. While salting a Tbone you start your little story:

You know Mike in my days we had to go to the bank and wait in the line to get our money.

What do you mean in the bank Granpa? - Said Mike with a big question mark over his little head.

Well Mike, in old times we had bank buildings with hundreds of people working inside of them and counting money all the time.

I don't understand you Granpa. Counting money?

You know from the history books that we had physical pieces of paper and someone had to count them before giving them to you.

Woow grandpa, I've never thought about that... What a waste of time that was. It is hard to imagine how you lived before Baas, IoT and AI - Said Mike passing you Bbq sauce and wondering about all this.

Then the banking system was slow, unreliable and pretty expensive Mike and I am glad that you little fellows don't need to go through all of that these days. I always remember when I wanted to buy my first car and spent a whole month going around car dealers and checking all cars they had to offer. Then I would go to the mechanic store to check the engine and...

JACK!!! - Your wife was shouting from the house... Don't bother Mike with your first car story, again! At the end of the story, they sold you that broken car and took all of your money. We all know that honey.

Just can't imagine all that problems and adventures you need to go through just to buy a car. Unbelievable! - Said Mike shaking his little head.

Yes, it was problematic, - You pushed on with your story - But then came the solution. I remember the first time reading about Bank-as-a-Service in BANKEX whitepaper. It sounded so futuristic and little bit unreal in that time Mike. But today you can choose whatever car you want from all over the world, make a deal with a seller in a matter of minutes and be 100% secured. The funniest thing is that all this is almost entirely free for you today. And this become standard for any purchase you can imagine. That is what I call a real revolution Mike.

BANKEX made your lives much easier so you can spend more times with your grandparents and listen to all their stories.

Yes grandpa, I have to listen to your stories thanks to BANKEX. - Said Mike smiling - Maybe I should send them a message to say thanks for all they did?

You were just turning your Tbone to be medium-rare and continue - You know in my days we had to go to the post office and send a letter if we wanted to say thanks to someone.

What is a post office Granpa?

JAAAAAACK!!! - It looks like we had enough stories for today ;)
