* Good evening dear friends, I wish you a wonderful weekend... Today, I will share with you an exquisite and appetizing recipe, I will explain how to make a "delicious cake with peanuts, raisins and cinnamon". To decorate, I made a succulent "lemon glaze", the contrast of flavors was really spectacular! I hope you enjoy the process, I'm sure you will love it as much as I do!

>* Buenas noches queridos amigos, les deseo un maravilloso fin de semana... Hoy, compartiré con ustedes una exquisita y apetitosa receta, le explicaré como realizar un "delicioso bizcocho con maní, pasitas y canela". Para decorar, realicé un suculento "glaseado de limón", el contraste de sabores quedó realmente espectacular! Espero que disfruten el proceso, estoy segura que lo amarán tanto como yo!

* Start by adding 1/2 cup of sugar to a bowl along with 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Mix until well integrated, then add 1 egg, if you keep it in the refrigerator I suggest you take it out 20 minutes before, so that it is at room temperature.

>* Empezaremos agregando a un bowl 1/2 taza de azúcar junto con 3 cucharadas de mantequilla "sin sal". Mezclamos hasta integrar bien, enseguida añadimos 1 huevo, si lo guardan en la nevera les sugiero sacarlo 20 minutos antes, para que esté a temperatura ambiente.

* When you have obtained a homogeneous mixture without lumps, integrate 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder.

>* Cuando hayan conseguido una mezcla homogénea y sin grumos, integran 1 cucharadita de canela en polvo.

* To make this recipe I used 1 cup of wheat flour, along with 1 teaspoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt (sift). We beat at "low" speed.

>* Para realizar ésta receta utilicé 1 taza de harina de trigo, junto con 1 cucharadita de polvo de hornear y una pizca de sal (tamizamos). Batimos a velocidad "baja".

* Friends, next I share with you my trick to get a cake with a VERY soft and fluffy texture, in this step we should add 1/2 cup of milk, but as I did NOT have it, I replaced it with water, but it is important that the water temperature is "hot". Mix again until well integrated.

>* Amigos, a continuación comparto con ustedes mi truco para conseguir un pastel con una textura MUY suave y esponjosa, en éste paso deberíamos añadir 1/2 taza de leche, pero como NO tenía, la sustituí por agua, pero es importante que la temperatura del agua esté "caliente". Volvemos a mezclar hasta integrar bien.

* Next, we add the crushed peanuts (unsalted) along with our delicious raisins... Bake at 180º for 50 minutes or until it is ready.

>* A continuación, agregamos el maní triturado (sin sal) junto con nuestras deliciosas pasitas... Horneamos a 180º durante 50 minutos o hasta comprobar que está listo.

* Once the baking time has elapsed, our exquisite cake is ready, I suggest waiting 20 minutes to unmold. 

>* Una vez transcurrido el tiempo de horneado, nuestro exquisito pastel estará listo, sugiero esperar 20 minutos para desmoldar.

* While I wait for the cake to cool a little, I will prepare the lemon glaze: add the powdered sugar to a bowl and add "little by little" the lemon juice, the texture should be "thick". You will know it is ready when you see that the cream forms a thick thread on the spoon. Whenever I prepare this recipe I always leave it in the refrigerator for a few minutes before decorating. 

>* Mientras espero a que la tarta se enfríe un poco, prepararé el glaseado de limón: añade el azúcar glas a un bol y agrega "poco a poco" el zumo de limón, la textura debe ser "espesa". Sabrás que está listo cuando veas que la crema forma un hilo grueso en la cuchara. Siempre que preparo esta receta la dejo en la nevera unos minutos antes de decorar.
