How to discover the talent in yourself

It's time to think again about talent. Talents can be artistic or technical, intellectual or physical, personal or social. You can be a talented introvert or a talented extrovert. Your talents need not necessarily bring money, be useful or generally accepted, but they will always be your own. Learning to find your talents in the right places and develop skills and abilities from them will require some effort, but a creative approach will allow you to explore your natural abilities and find your innate talents.

It is enough to wait for your talents to appear. You will not know that you have a talent for playing the guitar, if you never try to play the guitar. The same goes for balalaika, knitting, badminton and dancing. Find a talent that seems cool to you, and learn everything you can about it. Find out what is needed for this, and see what you have for this. If you never try, you will never know. You can not find talent, if you do not try. You will be able to discover your natural inclinations, abilities and talents only when you check your courage and are actively looking for new impressions. Meet with obstacles and look for challenges to find out what innate skills and abilities you can conceal in yourself.

Set as your goal to try something new every week. Perhaps you will not find something in which you will be super talented, but it is also possible that you will take the guitar one day and decide to learn more about it. Maybe you'll find the ability to communicate with animals in shelters, something you've never experienced before.

Try different kinds of sports, a hobby for fresh air, like fishing, hiking and mountaineering, to find out if you have an undiscovered natural ability or a flair for it.

What are you doing without thinking? What do you like? If you like to spend days on end, sketching, reading or dancing, there's no point in wasting time wanting to have a culinary talent. Focus on the talents that you really have, focus on what is easiest for you.

Pay attention to what other people can mark in you. Ask your family, your friends and your teachers to help you find out what they think is easy for you.

Try complicated things. Are you frightened by a scene or a public performance? Do what scares you. What do you have on the list of talents thrown into the trash? What talent would you like to have by nature without trying? Accept the big challenges and find out what it takes to succeed in them.

James Earl Jones, the voice of Darth Vader, the actor with a blooming, divine voice in childhood suffered from a terrible stammering. He was afraid to speak to the death in class and learned to speak properly, only looking in the face of his fear. Now he is widely recognized as one of the most talented actors of scoring in the world.![Screenshot_31.jpg](https://gateway.ipfs.io/ipfs/QmawVKy9C5vVHkgrGvErmJc7SSvcNmME9vpJZsFbaYw2YY)

Keep track of your small successes. If you feel untalented, perhaps it's because you missed your own success. Try to carefully consider the successes, both small and large, in order to identify those things to which you may have natural inclinations. Think creatively about how these small successes can be combined with more meaningful talents and abilities.
