With tons of articles being created about Bitcoins(BTC) value suffering and dropping I thought it might help to share a bit of reality with those being flooded with negativity.  The reality I'm here to share is in stark contrast to these articles dim outlook on the future of BTC and crypto in general.

These mainstream media outlooks love sharing graphs from the past week or month to support their claims and everyone seems to be keying in on whether or not the SEC will be approving ETF backed by BTC.  But BTC was never supposed to be just another player on the market.  It wasn't made to compete in game space A, it was made to replace it, to be something new and better that couldn't be controlled by these central authorities.  And the reality is Year over Year bitcoin has almost doubled in value.  

12 months ago 1 BTC was worth ~ USD $3400.

 Today 1 BTC is worth ~$6400.

In any other business this would be phenomenal growth.  No FIAT currency is close to this.  For bitcoin to actually be tanking it would need to lose another half of it's current value.  Just something to consider when be inundated by MSM about how "horrible" cryptos are doing.  



As a bit of a post script here, I've run into a few accounts on steemit that seem to be promoting negativity, hate and racism and want to remind people that just because you see a picture of let's say a black person spouting negativity, hate, and stupidity it doesn't mean the actual person on the other end is black and it may very well be an account trying to promote racism against blacks.  So take everything you read and see with a grain of salt and when you are faced with stupidity and hate let it roll of your back, it's possible it's meant to incite you and you should never let these types of negativity effect your outlook on a population as a whole.  Even if it really is (in this example) a black person on the other end, it's still just one among many millions.  We are all a part of the human family, there's going to be a few shitty cousins but cousins they still are :)  OK that's enough of a rant for today, if you have something positive to say or want to share a perspective that isn't inflammatory please leave a comment below!
