My Thoughts On Why Destitution Is Common Among Christains Part 1
**When it comes to religion, Christianity happens to be one of the most populated. It has its roots deepened in most countries and I am happy to be a part of this religion not for it’s popularity but for what it teaches through the holy Bible.

In spite of the amazing teachings about health, patience, loyalty, honesty, wealth and so much more, many Christians today seem to have fallen back when the issue of wealth is brought up. They may claim money is not everything but yet they pray for better jobs and salary increment daily. To be, that is hypocrisy at its peak and it is time for the issue to be addressed.
Bishop Tudor Bismarck once said “prayer is not in the success equation. Prayer is in the revelation equation. Decision making is in the success equation. To be successful, one must make a decision and be sound about it.” There are oodles of reasons why most Christians find it hard to afford quality healthcare, education and almost all the best life has to offer and I am going to elaborate on a few.**

1.	### Fake Prophets

There is a big difference between the ability to influence people and spreading the gospel. Most people nowadays use their ability to influence people to mislead them. It is made possible because of own selfish desires. I don’t know about how Christianity is functioning in the Western world but here in West-Africa, people are being robbed of their time, talent and money all because they want things to go well for them now. Most Christians in my country specifically have lost their core values and that makes it easier for these fake prophets to take advantage of them. My question is what happened to the spreading of the word to all corners of the world as our main motive? It becomes more depressing when these people bring up their children in these false beliefs.

This is all done mainly for wealth and that is where they are wrong. Wealth creation takes planning, action, patience and repetition and these all come together to form one word which almost every poor person hates and that is WORK. Most people hate to wait but the truth is there is far more joy in the process than there is in the outcome. As Christians, I believe it is time we took another approach towards wealth creation other than pondering to every whim of these fake prophets. Not only is it time wasting but also disgraceful to what we claim to stand for.
