Fear is one of the most emotions that human beings experience day to day, it is a strong, uncontrolled emotion caused by actual or perceived threat. Fear generally implies loose of courage and confidence. As the seventh universal Emotional, it comes to everyone. There are so many reasons that propels fear in humanity.
In this post, I sincerely want to use myself as a case study. One of the reasons I often get afraid is;
**The Outcome**
A lot of times, I get so afraid to try out certain things because, I don’t want to be counted a failure, I often ask myself questions like “what if the outcome is not what is expected?” and certainly the introduction of this question is an automatic pause to attacking/ tackling that issue or problem. Now I think to get this resolved, I often tell myself, that failure doesn’t mean that I am incompetent of resolving an issue, it is a clear sign that I am courageous and so though I fail, I have a thousand opportunity to keep trying and will get to succeed one day.

**Lack of Courage**
Severally, I lack the courage to begin a thing because I cannot face my fears and I often feel that no-body will stand by me and so I don’t want to break-out or stand-alone but the simple truth I have come to discover/learn over time is that you don’t need a crowd or congregation to get to any height. The journey begins with just a step and never doubt your abilities, you don’t have people to impress but a goal to achieve so when you begin from the inside, everything will definitely play out well. If you must stand out in life or in your sphere of operation, then you need to break-out/ stand-out from the crowd.

**Timing**
This point is very essential and vital, most times I get crippled by fear because I feel like I might run out of time but this is all our fault. The moment we understand that deadlines do not mean stop-line or dead-line, the tension will reduce and mistakes will be avoided. Our timing do not matter most times and though time is essential and must be valued, it doesn’t really means that we are incompetent of doing or accomplishing a given task.

**Who Takes the Blame**
We often want to make excuses for failure and would always want to cast the blame on some-one but this really doesn’t turn out well because at the end of the day, every-body struggles to be seen as the innocent one hence creating enmity in our work environs and enemies for ourselves. Sometimes we need to accept our fate and then fight to stay true to the course.

**How to Overcome Fears**
The power to overcome fear lies within our ability to see that we have been empowered beyond every reasonable doubt to face the world and like a wise man once said “we can achieve any-thing we want to, provided we set our hearts to it”. The power lies within us!!
Most times, we have to surround ourselves with helpful people who would charge and encourage us to pursue our dreams, equally we need to read the stories of other great men/women who succeeded, I tell you earnestly their stories motivate a lot and can serve as a drive needed to the accomplish your own dreams.

We are created with exceptional prowess, the absence of fear brings unimaginable success.
Till I come your way next time, I remain your girl, @ladivee
Much love!
