Hello my friends in [Stemsocial](Ecency.com), You know, there are way provided for problem solving of which some are; Alogorithm and Flowchart and I'm here today to talk about Flowcharts. First of All, what's a flowchart. They can be annoted by the verbs START, STOP, END etc  [Image](Pixabay.com) Input Symbol: It'sa parallelogram symbol which identifies the logical positions of all input and output operations in a flowchart. The terms used are; Read, Print, Input, Output.  [Image](Pixabay.com) Process Symbol: It is rectangular and represent computation, movement of data as the name implies.  [Image](Pixabay.com) Decision Symbol: It is diamond shaped denoting where the performance of logical operation where 2 or more data items are compared.  [Image](Pixabay.com) Annotation symbol: It is used to add descriptive or explanatory comments to a flowchart. These comments do not affect processing but clarify a particular point in the flowchart. Predefined Symbol: This symbol is used for one or more named operation in amother set of flowchart. Connect Symbol: It is used to serve links arranged in different pages of a flowchart that spreads over more than one page. Arrows Symbols It indicates the direction of the process or data. # Importance of Flowcharts * It provides a breakdown of the essential steps to solving problem * It helps to identify essential steps and simultaneously offer the bigger picture of the process. # Uses Of Flowchart * To develop understanding of how a process is done * To study a process for improvement * To communicate to others how a process is done * When better communications is needed between people involved with the same process * To document a process Alright guy's, that's all for flowchart.
