 # ENGLISH <P><div class="text-justify">When I think of old age, it is inevitable to link it with death, or death in life.</div></P> <P><div class="text-justify"> One is imminent, or rather, an absolute truth: we will die.</div></P> <P><div class="text-justify"> The other can be interpreted in many ways, and on this occasion, I link it to work. </div></P> <P><div class="text-justify">Without work, there is no life, as an old man I met said. José Alcizar, 72, a native of Colombia, has been living there for two years, holding positions in the administration.</div></P>  <P><div class="text-justify">"I earned the trust of the people here because I like to serve."</div></P> <P><div class="text-justify">José is devoted to God and says his only mission is to help others in any way, from raising chickens and rabbits or planting for consumption, as well as giving motivational talks through the "word of the Lord," in his spare time, he plays music with his fellow residents.</div></P> <P><div class="text-justify">He is a gentleman with a lot of life in his eyes. And although his body is not as strong as it used to be, he does what God asks of him.</div></P>   # ESPAÑOL <P><div class="text-justify">Cuando pienso en la vejez, es inevitable unirla con la muerte, o la muerte en vida.</div></P> <P><div class="text-justify">Una es inminente, o mejor dicho, una verdad absoluta: moriremos.</div></P> <P><div class="text-justify">La otra puede ser interpretada de muchas maneras, y en esta ocasión, la vinculo con el trabajo.</div></P> <P><div class="text-justify">Sin trabajo no hay vida, como dijo un anciano que conocí. José Alcizar, de 72 años, oriundo de Colombia, vive allí desde hace dos años, desempeñando cargos en la administración.</div></P> <P><div class="text-justify">Me gané la confianza de la gente de aquí porque me gusta servir".</div></P>   <P><div class="text-justify">José es devoto de Dios, y dice que su única misión es ayudar a los demás de cualquier forma, desde criar gallinas y conejos o sembrar para consumo, así como dar charlas de motivación a través de la "palabra del señor", y en sus ratos libres, toca música con sus compañeros residentes.</div></P>    <P><div class="text-justify">Es un señor con mucha vida en sus ojos. Y aunque su cuerpo ya no es resistente como antes, hace lo que Dios le pide.</div></P>
