I am new to steemit and often search  and thinking how it is possible that a post they got not ones vote. Not one. 
Steemit can give you the platform and giving robots for your assistance. 
If you promoted a post then  people will saw it go by on their screens. 
It's up to your writing and thought, not to Steemit, to make people want to click on it. 

Perhaps isn't what you were hoping to hear but it has the virtue of being true with your content . Steemit is a wonderful place, with something for everyone.  If you go though a closer look to the content  listening and participating, 
regard as a real contribution, what they would respond to, you need to know who's here, what interests them and what are you  providing this community. 

Steemeans are  immensely diverse crowd. Remind it if it's really good, reply when you genuinely have a good question or knowledge to offer, "Follow" 
to have people first join theirs conversation, intelligently.
