Analyzing the Cloverfield franchise | Part One
I started to see a movie that caught my attention recently, I loved it, I thought it was brilliant from beginning to end. Ready, get to work with my new review! I open my searcher engine and I write your name "The Cloverfield Paradox" and I get, among a lot of criticisms that destroy the film, a word "**franchise**", I wonder: "*is there more*?"; I'm looking for and find that this is the third part of a franchise produced by **J.J. Abrams** and **Matt Reeves**, who were the creators of "*Lost*"; and while it was criticized for having a resemblance to *Godzilla*, had an excellent reception from the public and shown at the box office. So believing that doing things right; I decided to do the rest of the films and reviews of each one of them and my impressions; Therefore, today I bring you the first:

A group of friends make a farewell party at a Manhattan apartment, while one of them documenting the event began to happen strange things in the city, tremors, and people running until it appears the great giant beast and all begin to flee from it. During the flight, call one of them who happens to be the girlfriend trapped in an apartment in downtown Manhattan, so decide to go in their search and traverse the city being in the midst of military clashes, bombings and attacks a small and terrifying creatures while the largest was destroying the city, and showing all the horror suffered through a home video.

I could not say much about the actions because they only are dedicated to running from one side to another in search of her friend and many cries, is a horror film, not be expected much more than it. What if I highlight is that it introduced new actors and few acquaintances who would then become a name in the world of cinema as **Lizzy Clapan**, **Jessica Lucas** and **T. J. Miller The soft underbelly of the film are the personalities of each of their characters, they are a little weak and full of cliche, with little personality with the exception of Hud (T. J. Miller) is the only one who is not, and just to hear his voice throughout the film It has the personality real annoying and a bit clueless friend, but with a good intention of character.

This film, directed by Matt Reeves, is recorded from a point of view "found footage", which initially was to record a party, became a terrifying documentation since the beginning of the facts, or from the appearance of the monster. The special effects are great, because they were shown from a point of view of a home recording and in the midst of that chaos and racing movement. An interesting detail is that T. J. Miller, did three-fourths of the recordings and half of what is shown in the film was made by him, giving him a much more realistic approach to the film. Many wondered at the time if there was someone as idiotic to grab a camera and record everything that happened while they were fleeing, and now, ten years later we know that that answer is completely affirmative; in fact there is a scene where the head of the statue of liberty falls and many people in the middle of the street begin to record with their cellphones, noting it completely believable is that anyone thinks to record everything that happened then upload the video on platforms like youtube, that although not be appointed, there was for the time.

I think that it is a very good film of horror and science fiction, monsters, good special effects and a good tension from beginning to end and that it makes you want to see her, to put care and attention in small details that will appear in future films. What I really regret is not having seen 10 years ago, maybe I had seen the latest film from a different point of view, but at the time of analyzing the last will give me two points of view: that of the person who sees a film without any subjectivity and otr or, seen from the point of view of the connectivity between films. So while waiting for my next reviews, and if you haven't seen this, I leave here the trailer so they dare to see it.
