Living without my smartphone or the internet is not something I imagine often, but whenever I do, I feel like it would be one of the worst memories I will have. I thought about it again and said, It won't be the end of the world. Our addiction to phones these days doesn't seem real because when I plan to put my phone away, I always have one reason to use my phone.

The longest I have stayed without my current phone since I got it is whenever my battery is low, my power bank is low, and there is no option to charge. Not using the phone won't mean anything, but we always go back to it because we are over-attached to it, and we can't blame ourselves for that.

For instance, I write here on Hive with my phone, so it's not easy to ignore notifications. Even when it's not a Hive notification, I still think it is because I just published a post and always expect at least a small engagement. Some other people use it for businesses, so they need their phones and internet working steadily.

If I ever find myself somewhere without a phone, I would survive living there for a while. Before I got my new phone, I misplaced my previous phone, which was a terrible experience for me. I depended on a small phone that could only make calls or send text messages.

I didn't die because I don't have access to the internet or a smartphone, so going off-grid won't be a problem, but instead of being stranded in an old cabin in the woods, I prefer something by the beachside where I can kill time watching the sunrise and sunset.

At the beach, I can build sand castles and even a whole sand city. I can take a swim if it's safe to do so, and I can pick up oyster shells and luckily find a life-changing treasure. These are fun activities to keep me alive when boredom kicks in.

For food, I don't need much because you will be surprised at how I can combine ingredients to make something healthy and palatable for the mouth. I need a tiny bed since I don't occupy much space myself and a few books for nighttime.

Light is very important at night, and I don't care about the source. I just need it bright enough to see, and there won't be a problem staying off-grid.

Don't applaud me yet because I will definitely miss my phone and the internet. I think it's terrible having to do all these things I have mentioned without taking a single picture for memories' and bragging's sake.

I will miss uploading TikTok videos and sharing my content on Hive, but since it's just for a short time, I can always do these things again.
