The mind is a funny, mysterious, amazing thing. It can plan, create, strategize, and perform a lot of different tasks that are essential to staying alive and being human.

It can also f*$k us up if we let it. Why does the mind tell us not go workout or read a book when it will clearly benefit us? Why does the mind constantly want us to put hard things off to a later date and only do simple things?

We can't answer these questions right now but one thing is​ for sure...Doing hard things can be, well, hard. The truth is there's nothing standing in your way from doing everything you want besides your mind. If you want something bad enough nobody can stop you from getting it.

These are 3 Actions we've seen that are effective on the path to conquering your mind...

1) Watch your thoughts and realize the moment your mind is telling you to do something later. Don't engage with your mind, just realize that you're​ currently thinking about not doing something right now.

2) After that, train your mind to instantly think about the​ first thing that will get you moving towards that task you're putting off?  If it's going to the gym, think about which gym clothes you're going to wear and go put them on. 

3) When you're finally moving, you'll see that what was holding you back was only your thoughts. You'll start to rewire your brain to do the hard stuff first. I don't know how it happens, but the more you do things when you don't want to do them the easier it becomes.

The truth remains that you either did something or you didn't. There's no in between. Thinking about doing something doesn't count as doing something. Get After It and Go DO It.
