I'm very excited about the November contest, where we'll be showcasing love and the human-animal bond. Inspired and filled with emotion, thinking about all the animals I'd love to have and care for, we have birds and cats at home. It's not the best relationship, but the birds take good care of each other. They're just visitors, undomesticated birds that are always perched among the loquat and guava trees, looking for food and relaxing with the family. Luckily, my cats are careless with the birds and don't try to hunt them, because it seems they're not interested in eating birds, or maybe they're just too lazy, being such sleepyheads. So the birds are quite peaceful in the trees, but so far I haven't seen any nests around here, on the branches, and it's possibly because they're afraid of the cats. They're very clever, but also curious. But I started imagining things and thinking that maybe if they saw a pretty house with a nest inside, it would be attractive to their future chicks. So I was inspired to make a cute house with a nest inside, using a plastic bottle. It's a very good quality recyclable material that we can make a variety of crafts with, and it's one of the ones I always use, since we always have bottles at home because they drink a lot of soda. I try to avoid drinking so much myself; I only do it occasionally, but I always recycle the bottles for my creative ideas, like the one I'm sharing with you today. I hope you all like it. The photos you'll see below were taken with my TECNO SPARK GO 2024 phone. > Hola queridos diyhubers, feliz y bendecida tarde para todos, espero que estén bien saludables, con la gracia Dios, por mi parte ando bien entusiasmada con el concurso del mes de noviembre, donde demostramos el amor y la relación humano-animal. > Inspirada y llena de emoción, pensando en tantos animales que me gustaría tener y cuidar, en casa tenemos aves y gatos, no es la mejor relación, pero las aves se cuidan mucho, las aves son solo visitantes son aves no domesticadas, que siempre están posando entre los árboles de níspero y guayaba, en busca de alimento y para relajarse en familia, por suerte mis gatos son descuidados con las aves, y no las tratan de cazar, porque al parecer a ellos no les llama la atención comer aves, o tal vez le da un poco de pereza, por ser tan dormilones, así que las aves andan bien tranquilas en los árboles, pero hasta ahora no he visto anidaciones por aquí, en las ramas y posiblemente sea por temor a los gatos, ellas son muy astutas, pero también son curiosas, pero me puse un imaginario y a pensar que si tal vez, vieran una casa linda con un nido en su interior, les sea atractivo para sus futuras crías. > Así que me inspiré haciendo una linda casa con un nido en su interior, con botella de plástico, es un material reciclable de muy buena calidad, con el cual podemos hacer variedad de manualidades, y es uno de los que siempre uso, ya que en casa siempre hay botellas, porque toman mucho refresco, yo trato de evitar tomar tanto, solo lo hago en ocasiones, pero siempre reciclo las botellas, para mis ideas creativas como la que hoy les estoy compartiendo espero les guste a todos. > Las fotografías que verán a continuación, fueron tomadas con mi teléfono modelo TECNO SPARK GO 2024. </div> <center>  | |-|-| | </center> <div class="text-justify"> Materials: plastic bottle, acrylic paints, twine, glue sticks, marker, craft knife, scissors, paintbrushes, knotting pliers, dried palm leaf, wire, hot glue gun. Then I began my project. The first thing I did was score and cut the plastic bottle to divide it into two pieces. After using the acrylic marker again, I drew oval shapes to create entrances for the birds. I also designed petal-like shapes on the bottom of the top piece to create a decorative and eye-catching roof for the birds. Then, using the craft knife and scissors, I cut out the oval shapes to create the entrances I had marked for the birds to enter their future home. > Materiales: botella de plástico, pinturas al frío, cuerda de mecate, silicona en barra, marcador, cúter, tijera, pinceles, pinza para anudar, hoja seca de palmera, alambre, pistola para silicona caliente. > Luego comencé a realizar mi proyecto, lo primero que hice fue marcar y cortar la botella de plástico, para dividirla en 2 piezas. > Después de usar el marcador acrílico nuevamente, dibuje unas formas ovaladas, para hacer unas entradas, para las aves, además de diseñar en la parte inferior de la pieza superior, unas formas como de pétalos, para hacer como el techo decorado, y llamativo a la vista de las aves, en ese momento con el cúter y la tijera corta las formas de óvalos, para dejar libres las entradas que tenía marcadas, para el ingreso de las aves a su futura casa. </div> <center>  | |-|- | </center> <div class="text-justify"> Next, I applied color to this house, starting with the inside. Since the house is shaped similarly to an egg, I painted it white. I let it dry for several minutes, and while I waited, I soaked the dried palm leaves to soften them and shape them into a nest. When the house was ready, I placed it inside to make this house a perfect and comfortable place. I don't know if the birds like the nest; maybe I'll redesign it, but I tried to make a cradle for their chicks. > A continuación, pinté la casita, empezando por el interior. I glued it with hot glue, and I loved this last detail; it was like the missing piece. As soon as the house was finished, I put the nest inside, and this beautiful birdhouse turned out wonderfully, just as I had planned. I immediately went to the patio to hang the house on the guava tree. I had previously hung it on the loquat tree, but I decided it looked better on the guava tree, and since it's summer, there's no risk of it getting wet or flooded. I considered all of this before designing the house; a house must be safe because it's a place to care for and maintain a family, whether it's animals or humans. > Durante la observacion, se me ocurrio pegarle una cuerda por encima de los petalos del techado en el centro de la casa y fue lo que hice la pegue con la silicona caliente, y este ultimo detalle me encanto era como esa pieza que faltaba, enseguida que quedo lista la casa introduci el nido y esta casa preciosa de aves quedo estupenda hermosa como la habia planeado hacer. > Enseguida me fui al patio a colgar la casa en la mata de guayaba, antes la colgue en la mata de níspero, pero decidi que en La mata de guayaba se veia mejor, y como es verano, no hay riego de que se baya a mojar e innudar, todo eso lo pense antes de hacer el diseño de esta casa, una casa debe ser segura porque es un lugar para cuidar y mantener una familia, sea de animales o de humanos. </div> <center>    </center> <div class="text-justify"> Thank you for reading my post and leaving your kind comment about what you thought.
