 <center><sup>The thumbnail was created in Canva.</sup></center> <div class="text-justify"> Taking the 2021 Ford Bronco into Las Dunas Cross Country was a wild Horizon Baja championship. The opening jumps and steep hill runs were breathtaking, but rewinds cost me dearly. Flips, bumps, and bridge crashes turned second place into fourth, even after retries. Tried again, but the tougher difficulty sealed my fate, so I gave up this time. Today, it's about the 2021 Ford Bronco in Las Dunas Cross Country. --- <center>**Las Dunas Cross Country**</center>  It was like a championship for Horizon Baja. The beginning was too much fun, but it looked like it was hard to keep up with as time passed.   The cars I could buy for this event were too pricey, so I decided to try it with the only car from my collection that I could use, and I found it was a one-lap event.   I didn't see it coming till I saw it. There was a big jump at 2% progress, where most of the cars were like started flying. It was a fantastic moment for me.   Then we had a speed run on the hill that was too steep, and it looked like the cars were in flash speed. I tried to zoom out as far as I could in the photo mode to give you this view.   I reached the second spot at this speed, and I was still flying.  My car lost balance on the last jump, so it was hard to manage my car on the track, though I didn't miss the next checkpoint. But I bumped into the railing, and a racer went ahead of me, so I tried the reply feature to do it perfectly, and that's the big mistake I made in this event.  That's what happened after replying three times.  I tried a couple more replies, but more racers were getting ahead of me. I decided not to reply there anymore, and I kept driving.   I got back my second position and was going good, but this jump changed everything, where my car flipped over after some bumps on the ground.   I had to rewind/reply, and I did it three times. The third time seemed like a charm for me, as the jump went well, but I messed it up with the speedy road, as you can see above how I was going off-track.   A racer went ahead of me, and I didn't care about getting in the third position, but I messed up and hit that pillar of a bridge directly.    I replied and tried hard to stay in the third position at least, but even after trying for 3/74 times, I couldn't do it, so I continued in fifth position and was trying to get to 1-3 again.  I got ahead of another racer and found this concrete road, where I sped up my car so I could get ahead of another one.   There was this final big jump where I lost all my charm.  I bumped into some railings after landing.   Even replying didn't do anything good for me, and I finished the race in 4th position.
