Welcome to this weeks LBI token earnings and holding post  **What is LBI?** The LeoBacked Investment (LBI) token is the first of its kind, the 1st token to be valued completely in LEO. Each LBI token represents a percentage ownership in the overall fund including all LEO, HIVE, off-chain and wallets operated by @lbi-token. The goal is to provide a community based and ran investment vehicle focused primarily on the LeoFinance community and LEO token. We provide a weekly LEO dividend payment to all token holders whilst also increasing the value of the LBI token slowly but consistently over the long term by only investing into things that will stand the test of time. LBI is a long term HODL token based on SPI's model. Because these tokens are backed and valued in their primary assets, the value only increases. Think of it as putting $1000 in the bank and earning interest. In theory, you should never have fewer dollars. The $1000 is the LEO you give us to buy your LBI token and the interest is the earnings we produce with that LEO.   Earnings are down some this week because we only posted 4 times this week. LEO curation, leo-voter, CUBlife, HIVE curation and HIVE inflation earnings are around the same as normal. The decline in the amount of content we put out has a knock on effect with our HIVE POWER downs, currently 100 HIVE per week. When this current cycle finishes, the next will be for a little amount, maybe 50-60 HIVE. We were earning 100 per week for the past year but things don't last forever. This result in less HIVE being converted into HBD and LEO each week.    The LEO balance got a nice boast this week. I was able to convert some HIVE into just over 700 LEO and we've added 1400 this week to our liquid balance. Would be nice to power some up but curation rewards are not very high and not close to our 20% growth target. Wiped out the HIVE balance this week, I got 70 HBD and converted the rest into 700 LEO. We also collected 28 HBD this week for our monthly interest payment. Everything else has gone sorta sideways this week. We receive ied an airdrop of $300 worth of SKIPPY tokens but I'm not including these as they are not liquid and worth about $0. We'll either airdrop are burn them I guess.   Everything is down a little in defi this week. This week we harvested a total of 90 BUSD which was added to the bHDB/BUSD LP. This is worth more than the 1200 LEO we earned on HIVE so we're getting to a spot where this might start happening more often. Our defi wallet is already worth more than our LEO holding and building the stable LP and HBD holding have worked well as a hedge against declining crypto prices. This growth has mostly come from compounding harvests for the past 18 months.     We finish this week with a small increase in LBI token price over last week. Earnings are not 100% but I'm ok with this, I'm not pushing or begging for people to produce content. If someone wants to, they can DM me for the posting keys. Defi harvests have been growing nicely and I hope they continue, if the price of CUB can recover some we would earn over 100 BUSD each week. My current pln will be to convert our HBD or most of it into HIVE to power up and delegate to Leo. voter to increase our LEO earnings. It might sound crazy but I'm aiming under 20 cent HIVE before doing this, it might take 6-18 months before we see HIVE hit this price, but I think it'll come before we leave the bear market behind. I'll convert our bHBD/BUSD LP into mostly BTC and ETH to wait for the next bull run. Plans are forever changing and with planning out months in advance things tend to be released, upgraded are die while waiting to play to the next move meaning the plan has to change a little. The bear market is where we have the best chance to get x5-20 returns. If we can pull off a few good trades, this time in 4 years we could be sitting on a fund worth easily over 1 million LEO, maybe even 2-3 million. It all depends on the price of LEO really and if it can recover are not. For now, we continue to stack liquid LEO until we have something to do with it and we continue to compound defi harvests into a stable LP. I'd say this will be the plan for at least the rest of the year. That's this week's report, thank you for taking the time to read through it.
