Hello LBIers, SSUK standing in for @l337m45732 today. He's on a getaway are trying too and I missed my post on Monday because I was off work for the Queen's funeral and I thought it was Sunday as that's usually my day off. Anyways, you have me today. 

Been saying for a long time that I was going to start moving some of our CUBfinanace holding about and finally got around to it. I decided to liquidate half of our LEO/BNB LP because its APY had dropped to under 20%. I see it is 25% today but overall, this LP has performed very poorly for us as it was mostly built while LEO was over 60 cents. The remaining other half is still worth $3250.

So where did I move these funds to? Easy, the bHBD/BUSD LP farm on CUBfinance currently paying out 32% APY which is amazing for a stable LP. Of course, there are downsides to this as well but overall it's currently a great deal. CUB itself is looking to be very stable as well at 0.021 cents so im hoping this can turn into a consistent earner for us and the harvest can be used to dollar cost average into another farm or kingdom. That might mean harvesting only once a fortnight because im not into paying 20 cents to collect $10 of rewards, that's 2% of our profits. 

The only problem I have with this is that bHBD is not that liquid and selling converting more than $1000 creates lots of slippage, 15-20%. For what we are holding, I could cash out over 3-4 days at under 2% but it would require a bunch of smaller transactions. Im a liquidity whore so not having instant access to those stables without having to pay ridiculous conversion costs will be a hole in the tooth for me, lol. I guess on the plus side, it's only half of our stale LP as the other half is made up of BUSD. Apart from the bHDB liquidity thing, I think this will be a good 6-12 month hold for us.

These 2 LP tokens should be the same value but LEO slipped a little the past few days as I have been waiting to convert into bHBD. It will be interesting to see how these 2 LP tokens compare in 3-4 months' time. They are paying out, LEO/BNB 25% and stable 32% so not a huge difference. We need to remember that yield from CUB is based on the dollar amount so if the $ value of your LP token drops by half, your APY kinda drops by half as well. 

I think I am done for now. We dont have a huge amount of money to play with so spreading our eggs does not make alot of sense right now. We can just cherry-pick the best and APE in. Holding stables will work out well for us if the bear market picks up again and the crypto markets continue to decline further. The ETH merge hype is over and we're back to reality and time to preserve a little of what we have built up off HIVE could be a good idea.
