This concludes section 2, the next sections will discuss harmonic and melodic modes as well as apreggio and other chord construction exercises and other chords you can use and maybe other stuff too. In the key of C Ionian, the 1, would be C Maj, the 5, would be Gmaj, and the 6 would be A min. One could solo to the modes in C Ionian on top of it, myself I like the A min pentatonic.
