Velvet Peach
The powdery peach color was what caused me to pull out my phone and add this one to my collection. I believe I caught it right before she wilts.

It seems like it was overproducing its petals and that some did not get enough water. don't get me wrong, I love a symmetrical bud, but the quality of a photograph can also be related to the focus and coloration. I like to include the ones that speak to me.

Let's get closer. This one worked hard to attract the bees that would scratch her itch. Just as I was able to get in close to look with my eyes, I thought I would do the same for you and snap a close shot. It was not the same flower but the same kind.
