We were down in La Union for a quick visit.  We came from Baguio City before the sun was up and traveled to La Union.  We were thinking of having our breakfast there instead and it lead us to Sunset Bay.

There is another purpose why we intended to come here.  It is because we were scouting for a place for an event.  This area of San Fernando now had lots of beach resorts.  I have been here to Sunset Bay a lot of times already and I liked it.  It is okay for small events.  It has a pool and a few steps away is the beach.

So, breakfast.

We were craving for longganisa (sausage) and good thing they have it here.

The serving is not that big as I wanted.  However, one meal comes with three pieces of longganisa, two eggs, garlic fried rice and coffee.  It is also served with freshly sliced tomatoes on the side.  All in all, it is a good way to start the day.

Their restaurant has a view of the beach so it is a refreshing and delightful location to eat breakfast and to start your day.

Price is a bit expensive for this simple meal considering it is far from the center.  Still affordable though.

We did came back for pizza and beer that evening though and it is a better experience.  Beer is served cold.  Pizza is delicious.  There is a live band which is a nice touch as you watch the sun sets.  Beach.  Beer.  Pizza.  Music.  Sunset.  Life!

All in all, it's okay to be here once in a while.  Price is leaning towards the expensive side.  Food is okay.  Staff consists of a lovely and welcoming crew.

Sunset Bay is located at Canaoay, San Fernando City, La Union along the Airport Road.  This is one ride from the main road.  If you are commuting, ride a tricycle and just say Sunset Bay and they will take you there.
