I love keeping a pet and at first, cat is my favourite pet but I later changed my favourite to dog but you won't believe I started fearing that same dog since the day a dog attacked its owner in my neighborhood since then, cat remain my favourite. But if I could choose any animal to have as a pet now, if nobody will challenge me or question me that would be an elephant and it will be a female elephant. 

Some weeks ago, me and my friend are talking about animals because she study zoology and when we are doing researching  on this animal I was attracted to the elephant because of its intelligence, its social nature and emotional depth and that alone makes me wish and wonder if I could keep an elephant as a pet. I know to many, my option might seem unusual choice but then I can't explain this feeling in detail.

While studying her research, I got to know how that elephants are the most intelligent animals, their ability to solve problems by theirselves, they have the ability to use tools, and also they have a remarkable memory and never forget any they already know. They share some emotions similar to those of humans which makes them a human friendly. They mourn their dead like humans do and they are honest to their kind, they celebrate the reunion when reconnect with their lost ones, just like humans do.

They have compassion for others and know just how to comfort the distressed members of their herd. Female elephant are more social than the male elephant and  moreover they have long life  span which means they can be with you longer than any other animal and foe this reason, I would choose elephant over any other animal and  think it will be fun but also unrealistic because elephant can not stay in a small space.
