Unknown tried to attack the Olympic flame torchbearer Rio 2016 during the stage of the relay in Guarulhos, São Paulo.

The man was promptly arrested by the security services. He had hit on the head with one of the officers, grabbed his arm, after which he was knocked to the ground, and the relay continued. The intentions of the attacker and the reasons for its action are unknown.

This is not the first attack on the participants of the relay - in late June in Brazil has been arrested a man who tried to put out the Olympic flame dispute bucket of water.
