 Hello creatives, it's figure study time and to achieve this today,I had a female artist friend of mine model for me for some minutes. Lately I have been influenced by the kind of moods that was achieved in the paintings of old masters like Leonardo Da Vinci,specifically in his painting of Mona Lisa( c.1503-1519). I sought to achieve an intense light effect and a subtle mood in this drawing. I carefully studied where the light source came from and allowed it diffuse into the cool shadow areas creating a balance and an atmosphere in this piece.
