Why does human need water?

Everyone knows that water is a good solvent, so it is used not only in chemical reactions, but also is a transport medium for various substances in our body. For example, our blood is 92% water. But there is one more important function of water. This is the use of physical properties of water. We know that water is a substance that is practically incompressible and always takes the form of a "vessel" in which it is located.
The human body contains water as a "vessel". The amount of water in the body is on the average from 90% to the mass of the body in infants and 50-55% in the elderly (say a person is drying up with age). As you can see with age, the amount of water is reduced, which is reflected in our appearance.
Water is needed to maintain the shape of the body (cell shape). Imagine our cells in the form of small balls filled with water. The cell has a membrane that limits the outflow of water to the outside of the cell. If you squeeze the ball with water, then its volume does not change much, but its shape is freely transformed in the direction of less effort. Click your finger on your body and you will understand everything.
If we fantasize, and imagine our body with the minimum amount of water needed only for chemical processes, then we will look angular and bony, like a robot. Our movements will be clear and sharp, like hinges. Water in our cells, gives our movements a smoothness.
The water fills us!
