This was my yesterday afternoon lunch made by my wife. Obviously we had a different style and taste in making this dish. But I loved the one she made- girls are always one steps ahead in cooking dishes. For those of who don't know about Chowmein, the thick noodles used in making it is very similar to spaghetti.

Adding vegetables to Chowmein makes it more healthy and tasty as well. She cooked chopped cabbage, carrot and onion, green chili, chick peas all in one place by mixing it with spices like salt, turmeric, cumin and coriander powder. To give red color at the end, she put a tomato sauce made out by grinding ripe tomatoes.

After the Chowmein is cooked, fried chicken meat is placed from the top. Chowmein is good taken either with sauce or pickle. Since, I loved consuming it with both, I picked both.
