Hydrangea flower is one of the most beautiful flower that comes in different varieties including red, white, blue, pink and so on. The flower starts to bloom during late spring and summer season. These flowers are believed to be originated from Japan and China and slowly exposed to Central and South America. One of the striking features of the flower is the color of these flowers which is affected by the pH value of the soil. With pH value less than 7(acidic), the flower turns blue and if it is neutral then the color is pink. Most of the times, the color is also affected by other conditions like availability of nutrients in the soil and exposure to the sunlight. The buds and leaves of these plants are very toxic and inedible. So special care should be given if you are planting these flowers in your home otherwise ingesting it could cause detrimental effects on your body. The above flower was planted in my friend's home.
