Thoughts on Hive
I've been taking some time off for the last couple of weeks, apart from some light curation. I'm glad that after all these years, the cloud of the Steemit Inc ninja-mine will finally be gone. While I was never in support of forking it off or freezing on Steem, I'm 100% in support of moving to a new chain with it gone.

I'm also delighted to see the community rally around this new project - I had my doubts it'd happen. Where the valuation of the new chain settles remains to be seen, but either way, it's for the best.

I'll of course join all of you on Hive, and I plan to become active again just to kickstart things. I'm on holiday, so things will be slow, but I'll try to contribute wherever possible. I'd also like to continue curating.

As for Steem, I bear no ill will. While Justin Sun's behaviour in the last couple of weeks has been despicable, I understand that he was trying to protect his assets under duress. I would like to see the new Steemit Inc team continue to develop Steem / Steemit Inc, but at this time I don't have much expectations. I'll probably continue to cross-post on Steem as long as there's still an audience.

Alright, see you all on Hive! Look forward to it.
