Progress
Each time I become a witness to such a scene, I start to reflect.

On the topic of "progress".

I suppose we think of it as a strong positive and forward-moving force, but sometimes it can feel like we're just spinning our wheels, one circle, then circle. In my mind pops up a treadmill, where we are putting in a lot of effort and energy to move forward, but we're not actually going anywhere new.

So is it just an illusion of movement? If so, it can be frustrating sometimes, right? But just like getting off a treadmill and taking a break, giving ourself the opportunity to look at the bigger picture, sometimes we need to step back and reassess our progress to make sure we're moving in the right direction and not just repeating the same loops.

Nature is a great, actually I'd say the perfect, starting point to draw the frame of the bigger picture.

I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!
