Time is one of the most important factors in Photography. Time is THE factor, I'd say. So check out those three photos below, that I took using a tripod. The first of them has 1/6 s exposure, so I'd say it is a long exposure photograph. The second I took at 1/20s and the third, 1/60s. The sky was covered in heavy clouds, it is almost dark in the late afternoon. I'd say that the feel of these three is quite different.
